ABOUT THIS COFFEE |
This coffee was grown on the southern slopes of Mount Kenya, at great elevation in rich red volcanic soil. This coffee is a Peaberry selection. Meaning that the coffee grew one seed per fruit rather than 2. The result of that is that the single coffee bean developes a more rounded shape rather than having a flat and sounded side. The reason this matters is that it puts more of the coffee trees energy into producing the one bean rather than two. The result is more dense coffee. The denser the coffee the sweeter the coffee.
